The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center, located at the southern end of Topsail Island, is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to helping sick and injured sea turtles. Come and see the turtles and take a tour of our facility. Tours are available June – August, from 2:00pm–4:00pm.
There are lots of turtle items in the gift shop. For more than ten years volunteers with the Topsail Turtle Project have monitored the beaches of Topsail Island, staking off and protecting the nests of endangered sea turtles.
